LAURENCE PHILOMENE OLIVIER
..Today`s feature is on the young and talented photographer Laurence Philomene Olivier. Laurence`s work has a great distance, it is dreamy and euforic. I am rather impressed with her compositions, and think she is a name for the future. Laurence is telling us a little bit about herself and her photos today, so enjoy..
..Here it is, your shot of art with Laurence Philomene Olivier:

...
-What inspired you to start being creative?I've always been creative, I guess it's just a part of my personality. I couldn't survive without being creative, I'm a pretty shy person so it's my way to express myself.
-Is making art your fulltime job, and if not, what else do you do?No! I am currently unemployed, actually... but hopefully one day I'll be able to make a living out of my photography
-Have you gone to art school, if yes where did you go and what did you study?Yes, I am currently studying photography at Dawson College here in Montreal
-Where do you find inspiration?Everywhere... I spend a lot of time looking at images - photography books, magazines, internet, etc. but daily things also inspire me, like rainy days or sometimes just a certain color or object that appeals to me.
-Do you have a favorite artist and if so who and why?I really like Annette Messager. I saw her work in Paris a few years ago and it really moved me. I especially like her series called ''les pensionnaires''.
-Where can my readers see you`re work?on my website : http://laurencephilomene.com
culture? Laurence Philomene Olivier!
I love this! The first image with the hands really got to me. It`s like I wander who the hands belong to... Maybe it`s a girl all dressed up in a big dress, and she`s going to a wedding, but taking a break in the sun? Anyway. Amazing photographs.
