-What inspired you to start being creative?I liked to draw, drew up stories when I was a kid, princes and princesses (is that how write it?) with swords and dresses. Adventures on pirateships and later a lot of horses.
Nowadays I find inspiration in light, colour-combination, patterns and people.
-Is making art your fulltime job, and if not, what else do you do?
No I spend alot of time in my studio at the moment, as I am a librarian without a fulltime job and just do hours for several libraries. However I imagine my future a kind of combination between the occupations as I need a social stimula which I get at the library!
-Have you gone to art school, if yes where did you go and what did you study?
I have studied five years at artschools at two separate times in my life so far..
First at my gymnasium in my hometime which offered an extra art year, next two school in Gothenburg (Kv Konstskola and Göteborgs konstskola), where I specialised in painting. After my librarian exam, at university, did I long for painting and went two years at Gerlesborgsskolan Bohuslän, where they teach all kinds of art which was great!
-Where do you find inspiration?Nature, in magasines (some from the 30's, 40's, 50's etc which I collect). I must say that most of my inspiration do I get from other artists and photografers at Flickr.
-Do you have a favorite artist and if so who and why? Many, many. One of my all time favorites are the swedish artist Carl Larsson, who find light in his pictures in different techniques. Lars Lerin, a watercolourist who can make any environment interesting.
-Where can my readers see you`re work?I have most of my work at Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/maskros/
I have my own homepage: http://www.linaantonsson.se
and during Easter I will have an exhibition in my hometown in Sweden.
Great work! No. three is very unique, but the last one is brilliant.
