VANIA BARBATO
..Culture? is kicking off this week with the fun-loving illustrations from Vania Barbato. Vania`s  work is well composed, humours and warm. Vania is telling us a little bit about herself and her thoughts around her art today, so sit back and enjoy...

Can you tell the readers a little bit about yourself, name, what country you live in, age etc?
My name is Vania and I’m 22 years old. I was born in Padova,( north-east Italy ).

-What inspired you to start being creative?
I don’t know really,I have just always done it.

-Is making art your fulltime job, and if not, what else do you do?
Unfortunatly no!!! I hope to one day become a full-time illustrator.

-Have you gone to art school, if yes where did you go and what did you study?
I studied at an art school in my town, but I’m essentially a self-taught illustrator.

-Where do you find inspiration?
Humans, animals and Talking Heads often inspire me.

-Do you have a favorite artist and if so who and why?
Not only one in particular ... I love Charley Harper, Stanley Donwood, Edina Altara and many others…

-Where can my readers see you`re work
