-Can you tell the readers a little bit about yourself, name, what country you live in, age etc? My name is Jennifer Davis. I am 35, a painter, from Minneapolis, MN, USA.

-What inspired you to start being creative?I have always thought that I discovered my passion for art in college, at the University of MN in 1996ish. I am starting to realize that it may have started a bit earlier. This is a photo of my making art in my pajamas in my bedroom a zillion years ago:
I still do this (make art in my room, in weird pajamas. ha!)

-Is making art your fulltime job, and if not, what else do you do?I was laid-off from my job over 7 years ago and have been making art full time since then. I love my job!

-Have you gone to art school, if yes where did you go and what did you study? I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Minnesota in 1998.

-Where do you find inspiration?I get a lot of inspiration from found images. I collect big piles of images torn out of magazines and vintage bits of paper. I am also inspired by the art work of my friends and the art that I find online. In the summer I take a long walk every day which always inspire me. It is cold here now and I am hibernating in my studio.

-Do you have a favorite artist and if so who and why?I have so many favorites. A different one everyday. The first thing that popped into my head today is The Date Farmers (http://thedatefarmers.com/)
