★ VINCENT MOUSTACHE
My real name is Vicent Tido.
I live in Barcelona, Catalunya, but I was born 23 years ago in a little town in the east of Spain, La Vall d'Uixó, near the mediterranean mare.
-What inspired you to start being creative?
My parent meet playing theatre, so I guess that was my firsth contact.
My father desings and makes scenery, atrezzo, masks... etc (He built the house where we live).
My mother sews and is teacher in a high school.
In my born town, everybody is musician, so is dificult not to have a contact with art.
-Is making art your fulltime job, and if not, what else do you do?
Now I'm working like freelance illustrator and desinger, but not full time cause I'm studying Fine Arts in Universitat de Barcelona.
I love make toys and sewing my clothes. I tried play music so many times, but I can't.
-Have you gone to art school, if yes where did you go and what did you study?
I've studied for two years graphic desing in EASD (Escola d'Art i Superior de Disseny) in València.
Then I decided to come to Barcelona for 4 years. This is the last one.
Next year I would like to go out of the country to study a postgrad.
-Where do you find inspiration?
Everywhere.

The place I live, The city I hate (recently Barcelona), books, series (ugly betty, mad men, carnival, The Mentalist...) old cinema, musicals, romantic movies, markets... I think everybody and everything has a history to tell, you only have to hear them.
The most I like is translate to my illustrative world what happened arround my friends, my family and me.
