> -Can you tell the readers a little bit about yourself, name, what country
> you live in, age etc?
We are a married couple. Martin Øbakke (32 yrs.) is from Denmark and
Celena Cavala (34 yrs.) is from USA. We met each other in FLorence Italy
in 1999 while Martin was studying painting and Celena was a ballet dancer.
We started creating Fairy Tales together via art, writings and 3d
Sculptures and haven't stopped since! We currently reside in a small town
outside Nashville.

> -What inspired you to start being creative? They both spent many hours playing in nature. Martin was especially
inspired by the craftmanship in classical art while Celena found an escape
for an active imagination in writing and ballet.

> -Is making art your fulltime job, and if not, what else do you do?It is our full time job. We exhibit at least 4 times a year and sell online.

> -Have you gone to art school, if yes where did you go and what did you
> study?
Martin took a semester in Florence where he studied drawing, painting &
printmaking.

> -Where do you find inspiration? We're inspired by the Invisible world and Imagination and the points in
between that we refer to as 'the Filigree'; thin, gossamer strands that
connect everything.

> -Do you have a favorite artist and if so who and why?
We're very
inspired by Art Nouveau and turn of the century fairy tale motifs &
subject matters often found in Naturalism.

> -Where can my readers see you`re work? Please stop by our site: thefiligree.com or become a fan on Facebook!:
