Culture? introducing Julia Humpfer..

JULIA HUMPFER
..On this fine day, we are visited by the sweet Julia Humpfer. Julia`s work is very light and harmonic, almost sacral in a way. The touches of colour is very well planned and the compositions are great. Julia is telling us about herself and her art today, so I hope you all enjoy. And remember; follow culture? on twitter and bloglovin...
...Here it is, your shot of art with Julia Humpfer:

Can you tell the readers a little bit about yourself, name, what country you live in, age etc?My name is Julia and I am 27 years old. I live in Stuttgart, that´s in southern Germany. I would love to move to Berlin, but all my friends and family are in Stuttgart and what would live be without them? So I will stay. I have a little dog, a Bull Terrier, she is lovely even if she looks kind of scary. -What inspired you to start being creative? There was no actual start since my parents, both Graphic Designers, learned me to draw and to create from my very first years. It is a way to express myself and I do not know how to live without it. -Is making art your fulltime job, and if not, what else do you do?I am working full time as a freelance Illustrator. -Have you gone to art school, if yes where did you go and what did you study?I have studied Communication Design in Stuttgart, the focus was on Visual Communication. -Where do you find inspiration?Usually inspiration hits me when I absolutely wouldn´t guess it! It can happen absolutely everywhere. But reading, whatching movies and going through fashion magazines helps very often. -Do you have a favorite artist and if so who and why?I adore Oscar Wilde, Tim Burton, Tim Walker and Gustav Klimt, they are so full of playful fantasy and create amazing wonderlands. -Where can my readers see you`re work?My homepage: www.juliahumpfer.com and my flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/juliahumpfer/
