Culture? introducing mini-feature..

....Culture? is going to have some mini-features in between the large ones. This is for the singel pics I have just fallen in love with. I hope you all like it, and you can see all her works here...Today`s feature is on the great:

..Joanna..

-Can you tell the readers a little bit about yourself?
Laura Makabresku - age 23, lives in Poland, study Literature in
Cracow. She's photographer and poet, writer of fairy tales. Poems and
photos can be found in several polish and international art magazines.

-What inspires the pictures?
What inspires me is darkness and its manifestations (such like
death, sensitiviness, pain). Every photo that I took concerns with
darkness, they are its reflection (I'm like the mirror, which wants to
preserve things, that stays in it for a bit longer).

-What makes you happy?
It's a hard question, but someone would think that it's simple. I
think that it is sensitivity which makes me happy (safe, tamed,
passionate). Sensitivity lets me get close to the darkness on a safe
distance, from which I can talk with it, but I'm afraid that it will
posses me.
