..How to transport a whale..
Can you tell the readers a little bit about yourself, name, what country you live in, age etc?
My name is Sarah Ogren. I am a collage and mixed media artist. I am 35 years old and live in Crystal Lake which is a suburb of Chicago, IL. USA.

-What inspired you to start being creative?
It was probably my mom who is also an artist. She has always encourage me to pursue my creative side and I can`t say there is a time when I wasn`t making something. I was always enrolled in art classes, or drawing on my own time or selling my crafts at the edge of our driveway. Most kids had lemonade stands; I sold my art. Art has just been something I have always done and I have been lucky enough to have people around me that encourage my creativity.

Making art is my full time job, but I also teach art workshops and I have recently begun a Life Coaching service especially for creative types in which I help to keep my fellow artists and creatives inspired, motivated and doing what they love. http://sarahogren.com
-Have you gone to art school, if yes where did you go and what did you study?
Yes, I have gone to art school. I got my Bachelor of Arts degree from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. I then went on to grad school for a Master's degree in Professional Counseling from Webster University and then went to school yet again for a second Master's degree, this time in Art from Governor's State University.

-Where do you find inspiration?
Definitely in nature. Other artists, and in every day life and conversations. I keep a journal of conversations I have had with people or thoughts that I have had. These are usually only a sentence or two, but they provide rich subject matter for my work. I think it's these every day conversations that make my work so relatable because we can all see pieces of our own lives with in the imagery and stories of my work.
I don't really have one favorite artist. I tend to like the folkloric work like that of Evan B Harris. http://evanbharris.com/ or dark and quirky work like that of Heather Nevay. http://www.nevayburke.freeserve.co.uk/index.htm
