Culture? introducing Kristiana Pärn...

..Long time, no see folks, Culture? is back with the amazing Kristiana Pärn.  Kristiana`s work is so sweet and full of naivism, and sprinkled with this childish joy of shape and colour. If you don`t get happy from watching Kristiana`s work, you my friend, are made of stone. Read more about Kristiana`s thought`s around her life and work, enjoy..
..Here it is, your shot of art with:

KRISTIANA PÄRN
..Bring you the north star..

-Can you tell the readers a little bit about yourself, name, what
country you live in, age etc?
My name is Kristiana Pärn. I'm an Estonian-born artist and illustrator living in Brooklyn, NY.
..Sleepy little red pandas..
-What inspired you to start being creative?
This is hard to say.  I’ve been making art since early childhood.  It, more or less, seems based in intuition.
..Corious pandas..
-Is making art your fulltime job, and if not, what else do you do?
Making art is a full-time job, and much more.  Its something that, when I’m not doing, I’m consistently thinking about.
...
-Have you gone to art school, if yes where did you go and what did
you study?
I studied painting and drawing with Estonian artist Marje Berlokko.  In the past several years living in New York, I’ve had the opportunity to take many classes, mostly in printmaking and animation.
..Old sugar plum tree..
-Where do you find inspiration?
Inspiration comes with daily experience and the process of making things.
..Counting waves..
-Do you have a favorite artist and if so who and why?
I couldn’t choose a single artist.  Most recently, though, I’ve enjoyed Sarah Sze’s installations.
..Breakfast at the tree house..
-Where can my readers see your work?
I have a website and Etsy store, where I post most of my prints and stationery.
Also, this link will take you to recent, original works on panel.
