-Can you tell the readers a little bit about yourself, name, what country you live in, age etc? My name is Justin Nelson and I'm a 25 year old illustrator currently living in Tampa, Florida. Tampa is a nice city with a fairly small, but close-knit, arts community.

-What inspired you to start being creative? As far back as I can remember I've been drawing. My mom tells me I used to draw cars all over the walls in the house when I was a toddler and that's when it all started. I guess what inspired me to start getting serious about my creativity was when I discovered street art. There are so many incredible artists out there who are risking jail time to put their art into the public space. It's hard not to be inspired by that sort of thing.

-Is making art your fulltime job, and if not, what else do you do? I'm working towards the goal of a fulltime art-maker but at the moment I have a day job. I get to ship things all day. It's boring, but it allows me to brainstorm ideas all day for when I come home to my other fulltime job. art.

-Have you gone to art school, if yes where did you go and what did you study? I decided to skip art school because it was so expensive. That choice has proven to be a good and a bad one. It's good because I feel like I have a unique perspective on the creative process, bad because learning things on my own is very frustrating sometimes. It's very rewarding, however, when I figure out the solution to a problem on my own.

-Where do you find inspiration? Various news stories, music, my daily routine. Life in general.

-Do you have a favorite artist and if so who and why? It's definitely hard to pick one favorite artist. Right now I'm really enjoying the work of Allison Schulnik, Derek Albeck, and Alejandro Diaz.

-Where can my readers see your work? http://www.justinbryannelson.com
